Key Responsibilities and Duties: 

  • Accountable for all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring the highest levels of quality, service, and efficiency. 
  • Hire, train, and develop team members - Lead, develop, and inspire your team to achieve their full potential. 
  • Create an environment where team members are empowered and delighted, who in turn, delight our guests with genuine hospitality.
  • Effectively address employee relations issues.
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner. 
  • Drive guest satisfaction by consistently delivering Charleys signature service. 
  • Ensure inventory levels are properly maintained in order to increase sales volume and manage inventory.
  • Manage budgeting, financial performance, and P&L statements, ensuring profitability and growth. 
  • Operate and maintain all assigned equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Be directly responsible for all fund reconciliation and inventory audits.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and health/safety regulations. 

 

 

General Manager (GM) Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Two years of previous experience preferred in a management or leadership role within a restaurant or retail environment. 
  • Ability to effectively lead in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Take accountabilities, especially when things get tough. Always ask “what’s mine to own”. Admit mistakes and readily take actions to improve.
  • Must be able to work a flexible shift, including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to bend down, stoop low, and stand for at least 8 hours.
  • Ability to properly lift, pull, and/or push up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid Driver's License required
